This week saw the debut of one of our original creations, one that promises to make sure every party ends with a big BANG! This is of course, about our very own Balloon BOMB!

What is the balloon bomb you ask? Well allow me to explain.
Imagine a huge balloon, filled with sweets and treats inside. How are the kids going to get their hands on the goodies inside? Well thats the fun part! The balloon is attached to a remote control held by the birthday kid. The birthday kid will then turn the remote control on, flip a few switches and standby as the everyone counts down from ten to zero. The birthday kid then presses the trigger and… BOOM! Sweets and treats are free for all!
So the next time you’re throwing a birthday party and can’t think of a way to make sure its a hit, look no further than our very own Balloon Bomb Finale.
Birthday Party Kids Magician, Juggler, Ventriloquist, Balloon Twister or Clown… Which to Choose? January 13, 2008

We are often asked this question: “Which is the best type of entertainer for my child’s birthday party?” There are no right answers to that question. Consult your birthday child to help you along with your choice of professional entertainer, it is their special day after all! Find out if your child wants a magician, juggler, clown, ventriloquist or something else.
If sourcing the entertainer from the Internet, ensure the entertainer or entertainment company boasts a good track record and this will be reflected on their website, party rate sheet and whatever promotional material they can provide. Professional entertainers and birthday party companies will have professional websites. Avoid websites that do not have good credentials, have little or vague photographs and dubious copywriting. If you smell a rat, trust your instinct. Good quality professionals will also have a promotional video with live performance highlights of their shows or talents. This is the best way to judge the quality and appropriateness of the act.
Have your child sit with you to view photos or videos and let them choose who they want. (If they are too young, choose an entertainer based on what TV shows, cartoons or things that he/ she likes.) For e.g. one parent who was booking her party adventure with us highlighted that her child does not like puppets and shows which have a lot of talking. Her child enjoys action and motion. Thus, we recommended Kinetic Gal, whose juggling and magic acts with colourful props make her a perfect fit.
More often than not, kids like variety and audience participation in a show. And kids today are smart. They can tell when they are being ‘fooled’ into being entertained and when they are really entertained by a skilled performer.
Good luck!

Today has been a very interesting and exciting day!! A reporter from Business Times, Singapore came down to the Mighty Magic Factory office for an interview with Kinetic Gal! (That’s me!!) It seems that no other kid’s entertainer has been featured before so it is quite a major event. It is also a major interview for me so I was a little nervous!
The reporter asked me quite some questions about how I got into magic and how I joined the new children’s entertainment company, Mighty Magic Factory. It was a great experience, and I had fun during the interview! In fact, I was all decked out in my full Kinetic Gal costume during the interview too, and I’m sure my colourful outfit will liven up Business Times for that day!
Have a sneak peak at the interview contents and what was going on during the interview!!

Here’s one of my favourite questions from the interview. The reporter asked me: “How is your experience so far?” and I replied: “It has been a whirlwind ride so far especially with Mighty Magic Factory – because there are so many skills such as new magic, juggling stunts and ventriloquist skills I picked up in producing the new show! And it is only going to get better with so many things in store – such as the micro magic convention for presenting magic to kids and the upcoming kids’ theatre production for charity in March.”
There are many more interesting questions that the reporter posed, but you will have to read the article when it’s published to find out!
After the interview, I also showed them some magic and juggling, which was a cool spongeball routine that is part of my kid’s show! The photographer who came along for the interview also took some fun shots of me with my puppet Crash, the Lab Rat for the article as well!
I’ll keep everyone posted when the article’s going to be out, so, stay tuned till then!
