Traditionally, Chinese New Year is one of the most important festivals for the Chinese, so here’s wishing everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year! For the non-Chinese, enjoy the new year goodies and well, everyone’s always happy with holidays isn’t it? 
It’s the OX year ahead, so here’s wishing everyone a great OX year ahead!
Kinetic Gal Hosts a Birthday Party for Ayesha in Joo Chiat! January 24, 2009

Today, Kinetic Gal hosted a party for 7 year old Ayesha at Joo Chiat! The party was held in her house and from afar, we could see balloons up in the air! The sweet birthday girl was dressed in fairy costumes and even had fairy wings on her! This time round, i unfortunately do not have any pictures as i was handling the show alone.

Ayesha’s birthday cake was really special as it wasn’t one BIG cake. Rather, she had many many cupcakes on a 3 tier level and it looked really nice. The cake was baked by her mother and i thought that it was a fantastic idea! If you’re thinking of organising a party, this is one idea to explore too, as it saves the trouble of cutting and giving out the cake. Also, the kids love it as they get to choose which cake they wanted with the icing pattern they liked; and it makes for easy giving away to the guests as well after the whole party!

No one at the party was aware of it, but I actually wasn’t feeling too well… BUT! This is something I have learnt from my most respected mentors before… called professionalism! Yes, no matter what, the show must go on and the standard must never be compromised. I’m really glad because I did do just that – the show went well and the kids were enjoying themselves! I simply love the smiles and laughter from children (and adults!). In fact, Ayesha’s grandmother came to thank me for the show after the party and insisted on me having some food after! (Thanks so much!)

Yay! Kinetic Gal’s gotten a new costume for the new year 2009! The new costume is more tuned towards older kids and for corporate events as well! Kinetic Gal’s superhero costume is still in use, but there’s now one more option! *grin*

I had a pretty busy day today with two birthday parties, separately at Goodwood Park Hotel for Ye Qin and a private house for Ryan! Here are some pictures of the party going-ons!

Kinetic Gal hosted the party for Ye Qin who turns 21 today and after a slight break, I went on to host 1 year old, Ryan’s birthday party! He had a really awesome party decoration too!

This is really one of the simplest and nicest way to decorate your birthday parties! Many many helium balloons with different colours and tada! A very festive party decoration!

Today, Kinetic Gal hosted a party for 5 year old Vaishnavi at Bayshore Condominium. It is one of the few parties that were held on a weekday, but it was definitely everyone definitely enjoyed themselves! I hosted the party with a magic juggling show, balloon animals for all the kids, a MAGICAL cake cutting hosting and a balloon bomb finale!

The kids really loved the show, especially colour changing juggling rings right at the beginning of the show! We had loads of magic and loads of fun! During the show, Vaishnavi came up to help me out with some magic too! And boy, did she do some wonderful magic!

I’m so glad Vaishnavi enjoyed herself, and she even told me she wished the show was longer.

Unlike what some people actually think, loads of hard work go into every show and every party that entertainers host. Kinetic Gal is no exception and this is what you would find Kinetic Gal doing on her ‘off-days’.
Rehearsal Time!!
Yup, it’s rehearsal time and you can see Kinetic Gal’s barang barang (Malay for things) lying around the showcase! Loads of props and stuff that surprisingly still fits in my showcase as small as it looks!
Sound system and Balloon stuff!
Kinetic Gal brings her own self-contained sound system for all her parties so there’s no fear of ‘dead-time’ during the party! Lots of music, lots of laughter! And of course, how could there be no balloons for the party! I practise whenever I’m free to make different animal balloons for the kids.

Alritey, time to prep for the party coming up! After hours of rehearsals, it’s time to rest so I can keep up with the boundless energy kids seem to have during parties! LOL!

The weekend is near and I’m really looking forward to the weekend! I (aka Kinetic Gal) will be hosting a party on Saturday and from what I heard, the kids seem to be really EXCITED to see my juggling and magic show!
If you didn’t know, Kinetic Gal is the ONLY female entertainer in Singapore with the unique one-and-only juggling and magic show! Yes, that is correct, there is no other female entertainer doing this in Singapore. Indeed, finding a female magician, or a female juggler is extremely rare – what to say a female magician cum juggler! =p In the magic and juggling show, Kinetic Gal does juggling infused with magic, not just separate shows of magic and juggling!
In fact, I’m looking at getting new beautiful clubs for the show too! Usually, Kinetic Gal uses three very brightly coloured clubs for her party shows for the younger kids, but I’m going to be getting new ‘cooler’ looking clubs for the older kids and event shows!

Happy new year, everyone! It’s 2009 and here’s just a short post to wish everyone a great year ahead!
