Today, Kinetic Gal performed at Takashimaya Event Square at B2 for a special Little Ones Club Event! We had hundred plus kids at the Square for balloons, games, show and Transformers right at the end. The event started at only 11am, but the kids and their parents were already queuing up super duper early for entrance to get a good seat. =)
We kicked off the events with some super-fast balloon twisting! We had to literally twist and twist away balloons for the children with the additional help of Mr Lightning Finger. =) When we ended the session just half an hour later, all the children in the seats had one or more balloons! That’s at least twice the normal speed!
Following that i hosted a games segment for the children – in fact, many of the merchandises happened to be selling at the same event square area too!
The children were given goodie packs from Takashimaya for the prizes.

Of course, directly after that, I did my magic juggling show for the Little Ones! =) As Singapore’s only female magic juggler, I’m really happy to see that most children are fascinated as much by juggling as magic! Writing about it, is kind of difficult! Here’s letting the picture do the ‘talking’ instead!

Here we go!

Opening segment

Children mesmerized by the paper bag magic!

Everyone enjoying themselves!

My little helper Shi Pei laughing away at my broken wand!
I hosted the lucky draw as well (20 consolation + 3 grand prizes – ain’t the organisers generous!) before it was time for the Transformers to make their appearance. Kinetic Gal hence made a ’safe’ retreat before the Transformers (i believe it was Optimus Prime + one other Decepticon whose name escapes me.) The transformers made a grand entrance and had everyone scrambling to take photos with them! I wished i had a chance to take photos with them, but… … no photos backstage!

Anyway, the children really enjoyed themselves at the Little Ones Club party, and so did i! In fact, i had a little fan who kept coming up to me to say hi when i was having lunch after the party!
Such a pity i did not have a photo taken with her!
Here’s looking forward to seeing you (please do come and say hi!) at more events, soon! =)

It has been a really busy month of May for birthday parties. I hosted a record number of birthday parties in the past month and have had tremendous fun performing and hosting parties for (mostly) gals and younger children. =) Besides birthday parties, Kinetic Gal also performed at a DnD function and had tremendous response.
As promised, here are some of the photos from the birthday parties passed (which i had not had time to post!):

Favourite interactive segment!

Let’s cut the cake!

Everyone say: YAY!

Nice Decorations!
Some photos as well from DnD function:

My favourite photo of the evening!

Audience interaction!

Finale!
The last Saturday saw me also, hosting a party for Happy Rogers.
Her daddy is Jim Rogers – someone you’d definitely have heard about if you’re in the financial/ business sector. Happy’s mum and dad holds a Guinness World Record for journeying through 116 countries in a Mercedes! Like… woah! How cool is that! (What a coincidence now that we have a magic world record event that will be in the making on 27th June!)
Some pictures of the party:

Enthusiastic response!

Cookie Time!

Wands!

Where’s the Rabbit??
Paige (Happy’s mother) had a pretty cool idea that i thought was very fun for parties. She had a long strip of paper rolled out on the ground for the children to draw on with crayons! Excellent idea for keeping the kids preoccupied!

Children preoccupied with drawing!
I also met Welles at the same event on that day!

Welles the caricature artist drawing with both hands!
Welles is an awesome awesome caricaturist who does more than caricature! This guy also does profile silhouette cutting. VERY NICE! On the right is a caricature of Kinetic Gal that Welles did in less than 3 minutes (with both his hands i must add!). It was quite a hurried caricature as i was rushing off for another party (from one end of the island to the other) so it’s not that detailed… His works are pretty awesome! =)

On a separate note, I’m looking forward to a fun-filled (and magic-crazy) June! There are many events that are up-coming that are magic-related. This coming weekend, I’ll be hosting games and show for Takashimaya’s Little Ones Club party! It sounds really cool – and there will be a transformer meet and greet after my show (Oh boy! Kinetic Gal is also going to stay around for that! *grin*)!

See you around!
