Had the usual ’bout’ of birthday parties over the weekend, which were fantastic! Regina, Hannah’s mum, and her family was so very warm and even invited me to stay behind for lunch. Her party was a beautiful ‘Disney Princess’ themed party. Everyone was welcomed to her home which looked like a castle, and the children left with great wonderful swords and certificates of princess and knighthood!

I also had a party for which Kinetic Gal (moi!) got a BIG cookie star at the end too!

Kinetic Gal subsequently rushed to the other show where i was again warmly welcomed by Bette and her daughter Nerissa! Bette later messaged me personally to thank me for the party!

Here’s a later email that she sent to me after:

Thank you for hosting Nerissa’s 7th Birthday Party last Sunday. You were certainly a life saver. Prior to your arrival, I was trying hard at organizing some games for the children to get them excited and engaged but the moment you arrived, that’s when the REAL PARTY starts. The children were in awe, captivated and you stole not only their hearts and minds but also their parents’. You were definitely the lifeline and livewire in the party And you make the birthday girl proud. The comments that I received from my guests were that you were entertaining to both their children and themselves. I cannot thank you enough.
