Anyway, just wanted to do a quick update here! M for Magic Season 2 is coming out… and i’m featured in one of the episodes! (i can’t rmbr which one!) Stay tuned and i’ll be posting that as soon as it is released! In the meantime, here’s a trailer!

Have a good Valentines! πŸ˜‰

Kinetic Gal’s New Video – Featuring ONE and ONLY Kids Illusion Show for Events!

I know this is kind of delayed, however, I’ve really been wayyyyyyyy rushed out and woombazzled (Kinetic Gal’s new vocabulary of being stretched crazy to max out) by parties! Kinetic Gal’s new video is out if you haven’t already seen it here:

I really really love the new video, which as you can see, is drastically different from the old one… It’s like how J C puts it, a coming of age video. I’m happy that my hard work these few years can be seen with the growth of Kinetic Gal and can be seen in the new video. πŸ™‚

As in the video, my focus is now on kids illusion show which is something that has never been seen in Singapore. There are illusion shows, yes, but never for the kids. When my producer (J C) and i discussed about this, i fully agreed that there was a missing gap in terms of illusion shows for the kids and i took on the challenge of developing one under his production and direction. I’m glad i did, and so far it’s been working out. πŸ™‚

With my graduation, Kinetic Gal is now a full-time performer and with the launch of the illusion show for kids, it means that I’ve had to cut down on my party packages due to the busy performing schedule. Hence, if you’d like to book a party package, do check with me early! Details of the party package can be found here:

Oh, and just for fun, some photos of parties that i’ve done the past few weeks. I usually run parties alone, but due to the crazy schedule, i have on occasions had to get my trusty side-kick Ashraf the Magic Boy to act as crew… πŸ˜›

So… It’s been a while!!!

Yep, it’s been a while some quick updates and why i’ve seemed to disappear from sight! =p

April 19 – 22

In Oman for show crew work for J C and Ning’s illusion show for Toyota and Oman Royalty! It was a great experience working with the professionals all over the world, and a great learning experience. I got to play in the sun for quite a bit (and turned two skin tones darker) even with work and studies. πŸ™‚

Me with Ning and Joys at the Oman Hotel!

The show went very well and it was really a great learning experience!

April 23

Exams in school as well as submission of my final year project! Yes yes, I’m still an undergraduate (graduating this year, in the upcoming two months or so!) and so i have my projects to take care of! At the same time got a bad bad bad stomach flu, which confined me to my bed for almost all of the wkend and more..

April 24-28

Did shows for a MayBank roadshow, hosted birthday parties and tried to keep my body from crashing…

May 1 & 2

Hosted birthday parties and did some filming stuff for a program for OKTO. πŸ™‚ If you remember, I’ve been on OKTO live before (Season 2!) and i might soon be appearing in something else too!

The past few days were crazy rehearsals and preparation for something upcoming on May 30. Something is coming up… so stay tuned for just more info in a bit!

A little edited picture to keep you in suspense! πŸ˜›

Kinetic Gal on Okto-Live 2009!

Between waiting for the DVD version of the Okto-Live Episode to arrive and the rushing of many many other projects, this got a little delayed! Here’s the youtube clip of yours truly on Okto-Live, Dec 09.

It was really fun working with the Okto people. The hosts were really fun too. I had a swell time at the studio!

Besides all of that, i also did a show for Bank of Tokyo, Mitusbishi for their New Year Party Lunch. I think it is exceptional how polite and courteous the Japanese are! πŸ™‚ It was really fun doing it for them because everyone stops eating to watch your show and there’s no clanging of chopsticks, plates, etc while the show is going on. Of course, the kids were really fun to perform to. The little boy i had for a volunteer was really cute, he kept dancing on the dancefloor… So i joined in! =p

Anyway, i have a couple more of parties coming up. I’ve been taking it slightly easier for myself because of a lot of other responsibilities, but rest assured, more is coming up!

In fact, keep a look out for May 2010……. something exciting is coming up! *grin*

Halloween Night Out @ Science Centre (30th Oct)!

Being the science geek student that I am, it’s no surprise hence, that i’d recommend going to the Science Centre for some thrills this halloween! Afterall, halloween is two days away… time to let your hair down with the kids and have a good fright! πŸ˜›

Exams might still be in the progress, but why not let your child have some time out from the studies, and have some fun learning at Science Centre? Personally, I’ve always liked activities that are fun, entertaining and enriching. My mum told me that all my toys that she picked for me, when i was young, were all meant for me to learn something, or pick up some skills – though there were times of course when play was JUST play (like rolling in the mud… the good old days…).

There are ghostly night trails, trick or treat, stargazing, and many more activities on the 30th of Oct. In fact, Body Worlds exhibition is also on, so if your gals are as gung-ho as me, or if they really like science, this is one very cool place to be in for halloween. If you’re turning up in Science Centre for Halloween, come dressed up, cos there will be prizes for those in costumes!!

Details can be found on the poster above, or check out:

Time to whip out your favourite costumes… Frankenstein, witches, wizards and devils!!

Frankenstein toddler…

Beautiful young witches (Sabrina style??)…

And one young devil, you just feel like pinching his cheeks!!

All cute, and none too scary!! πŸ˜›

Prepare for all the frights, thrills, scares and laugh! Halloween is day after tomorrow!!!

Kinetic Gal had a BUSY Weekend with Birthday Parties!

Happy Moo Year!!

Happy Moo Year!!

Happy Moo Year! I saw this very interesting taxi on the road while running parties so i decided to share this on the blog! This weekend was really busy with parties and walk around juggling!

While most people were busy with Chinese New Year celebrations, some kids were having their birthdays, and it was great fun for them with New Year celebrations and birthday celebrations at the same time! (Double the ang-pows!) Of the few parties that i hosted this weekend, i saw some very nice decorations at one of the party! Here are just two of the pictures:

Mr Balloon Stickman!

The customer had asked for a recommendation from me about balloon decorations, and I recommended Balloon Barons. These guys are great at balloon decorations and you can get them for your party decorations and they have a wide range of decorations that they can do, depending on your budget.

I hosted another party for a 6 year old boy, Prithvi too, at Jervois Lodge! Even though his mum, Shawna related to me that it was the first party that they have done, it definitely did not look like so! The kids really enjoyed themselves (and they LOVED the balloon bomb) and the party was very well-ran! πŸ™‚

Here’s wishing all Aahana, Zhijun and Prithvi a Happy Birthday!

Happy Lunar New Year to one and all too!

PS. I have received quite a few emails asking about how and where to get party bags, so i shall be sharing about that soon! =)
